Module 1: Configure VSANs

Create one VSAN. The VSAN is only available on Fabric Interconnect .

Procedure

1. In the Navigation pane, click SAN.
2. Expand the SAN node.
3. Expand the SAN Cloud node.
4. Right-click the VSANs node.
5. Choose Create VSANs from the drop-down menu.

6. Use the information in the table to complete the fields in the Create VSANs dialog box. Click the OK button to create the VSANs.

7. A pop-up window appears indicating the VSAN was successfully created. Click the OK button to close this window.
8. Verify the Operational State of the VSAN.
1. Expand SAN -> SAN Cloud
2. Select the VSANs node
3. In the workplane, click +
4. Verify the Operational Status of the VSAN is OK
